The Ground-Water Remediation Technologies Analysis Center (GWRTAC) compiles, analyzes, and disseminates information on innovative ground-water remediation technologies. GWRTAC has prepared a variety of reports by technical teams chosen from Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), the University of Pittsburgh, and other supporting institutions, and has maintained an outreach program to provide innovative technology information to the public. Dr. Edgar Berkey, GWRTAC's founding director, resumed his responsibilities as GWRTAC director in December 2004 after Dr. Dawn Kaback stepped down from the director position. We would like to thank Dr. Kaback for her expertise, guidance, and contributions to GWRTAC for the last several years, and wish her well in her new endeavors. Dr. Frederick Pohland, GWRTAC's founding co-director, passed away in January 2004; his influence and contributions to GWRTAC will always be preserved here. The Frederick G. Pohland Memorial Fund was established in his honor by his colleagues; please visit the linked file for details. Ms. Diane Roote will continue to serve as GWRTAC's project manager and is supported by appropriate CTC staff scientists and engineers.
